The major differences between Invisalign and traditioanl braces are one of aesthetics. Also, there are benefits of wearing Invisalign over traditional fixed braces such as ease of cleaning the teeth.ie. it is still possible to brush and floss between the teeth. The other big difference is that fixed braces are in there all the time and are working 24 hrs a day, whereas with Invisalign we rely on the patient to wear the aligners as much as possible, ideally 22hrs a day. Invisalign is much more reliant on patient compliance to get a good result.
