Even though I paid "cut price" for invisalign, my teeth are not straight. I have huge gaps and one tooth still sticks out. I paid to have straight teeth so is there anything I can do about this? I'm wearing my last set of trays and the dentist has said he will sign me off on my next visit.

Dear Douglas, Invisalign deals that seem to good to be true often are! Invisalign charge a set fee for the aligners so if the dentist is doing the treatment very cheaply they may have to cut down on the amount of time they can spend on a case which often leads to a poor outcome. If your dentist wont make a refinement set of aligners you may have to see another dental practice to have this done. Some dental practices offering cut price invisalign charge additional...

I had braces at 18, until 21 to straighten my teeth and close thegap on my two front larger teeth, however recently they are making me self conscious again, the gap is opening and feel the teeth are moving any ideas?

Dear Laura Invisalign works very well at closing gaps, I would advise that you start treatment sooner rather than later as the larger the gap gets the longer it will take to close it again using orthodontics. After closing the gap you could have a retainer fixed to the back of your teeth to stop it opeing up again. Regards Andrew McCarthy

would it be possible to have treatment at my age of 51

Thankyou for your question.   Age is no barrier when it comes to orthodontics. Bone density increases with age which can add a little time to the overall treatment but still possible. My oldest Invisalign patient is 71!   Kind Regards

hello doctors, do you think i would be suitable for invisalign, i recently suffered and accident and now have an implant with a post, but the rest of my teeth really need straightening but i am afraid that i will cause damage to the implant. The rest of my teeth are pretty spaced out, with little gaps everywhere, so i want things tightening up. in your opinion even though I have an implant would I be a viable candidate for invisalign? thank you for your time

Hi there,   Even though you have a dental implant it may be possible to still straighten the rest of your teeth. The implant is fused to the jaw bone and therefore will not move however it would be advisable to try to limit the pressure on this area during treatment. I would certainly advise a consultation with an Invisalign doctor who has a great deal of experience with the system and also with treating similar cases to yours. Straightening your teeth may carry a...

I have been for orthodontic consultation as I have large bite, minor overcrowding and one top front tooth sticks out. I was told that invisilyn would correct this better than traditional brace. Could that be true as I thought traditional braces would be more precise. Thanks

There is very little we can't correct with Invisalign providing you wear the aligners as directed. We rely on patient compliance. If we are not 100% happy first time, we can always make a few extra aligners as a refinement at no extra cost. For this reason we are very confident that we can move the teeth into a position that you will be happy with.

is invisalign suitable for complext cases or should i be going for the horrible traditional bracse?,

We are finding that there is very little we can't correct with Invisalign providing the patient wears the aligners as instructed. The one good thing about fixed braces is that they are in the mouth 24 hours a day. If you can wear the Invisalign 20 hours a day you will achieve just as good results, without all the negative aspects of fixed braces.
